Attached are annual marketing implementation plans published from 2000 to 2011 when the Alaska Travel Industry Association (ATIA) acted as the official tourism marketing organization contracted by the Alaska Department of Commerce, Community and Economic Development (DCCED).

Effective July 1, 2011 the Alaska Legislature changed the funding mechanism for the Alaska Destination Tourism Marketing Program and the relationship between DCCED and ATIA. The FY12 $12 million appropriation for tourism marketing was directed to DCCED who will execute a domestic consumer marketing program. ATIA will simultaneously execute a $2.7 million international and trade marketing program. Click here to view the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) outlining this new relationship for FY12.
