FY17 Alaska Tourism Marketing Plan & Vacation Planner Sales

On June 29, Governor Walker released his FY 2017 vetoed operating budget. This budget included a significant cut to tourism funding from the proposed $4.5 million to $1.5 million. Given this additional cut to the program, sales of the 2017 Alaska Vacation Planner have been placed on hold until the Alaska Tourism Marketing Board (ATMB) can meet to discuss a revised marketing plan for Alaska tourism.
