ATIA is hosting the Annual ATIA "Best Ball" Golf Tournament on Friday, September 3, 2010. The tournament, to be held at the Anchorage Golf Course, is a fundraiser for the ATIA Foundation which funds numerous college scholarships to students pursuing a career in the tourism industry.
ATIA members contribute to the Foundation at industry events throughout the year and through four local chapters of the association across Alaska. This year we awarded 10 scholarships worth $20,500 for tourism education in Alaska.
The Anchorage Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 course located on the lower hillside in South Anchorage. The rolling, tree lined, fairways frame views of the Chugach Mountain Range, the Anchorage city skyline, Cook Inlet and Denali.
Registration
The ATIA “Best Ball” Golf Tournament is open to the public and early registration is encouraged.
The day of the tournament registration will begin at 7:30 am and the "shotgun" start will be promptly at 8:30 am. Mulligans will be for sale at the registration table and there will be a limit of 2 per person. To register a team or individual, please download the form below and fax it to the ATIA office.

Sponsorship
The Golf Tournament is a great opportunity to gain valuable exposure and networking opportunities for individuals as well as businesses all the while showing support for the visitor industry. If sponsorships are confirmed in time all sponsors will be recognized on postcard invitations, and promotional materials distributed in the community.
