ATIA is hosting the Annual ATIA "Best Ball" Golf Tournament on Wednesday, June 11, 2008. The tournament, to be held at the Anchorage Golf Course, is a fundraiser for the ATIA Foundation which funds numerous college scholarships to students pursuing a career in the tourism industry.
ATIA members contribute to the Foundation at industry events throughout the year and through seven local chapters of the association across Alaska. This year we will be able to award at least 10 scholarships worth up to $25,000 to promote tourism education in Alaska.
The Anchorage Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 course located on the lower hillside in South Anchorage. The rolling, tree lined, fairways frame views of the Chugach Mountain Range, the Anchorage city skyline, Cook Inlet and Denali.
Registration
The ATIA “Best Ball” Golf Tournament is open to the public and early registration is encouraged.
The day of the tournament registration will begin at 6:30 a.m. and the "shotgun" start will be promptly at 7am - a continental breakfast and Coffee from Café D’Arte will be available before you t-off. Mulligans will be for sale at the registration table and there will be a limit of 2 per team. To register a team or individually please download the form below and fax it to the ATIA office.
