Guest Tour Coordinator (s) – 1 P/T, 1 F/T or 2 P/T

– Winter Seasonal (September1, 2022 – April 1, 2023)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Our dogsled tour company seeks a professional customer service provider for P/T or F/T employment at our busy mushing site in Fairbanks AK. Primary duties include booking and organizing guests and tour groups who are taking dogsled rides. You will serve as first point of contact for our tour partners, independent travelers and staff to ensure smooth execution of our tours. Work is onsite during the day and online during evening hours. Prefer interest and experience in tourism, especially Alaska tourism. Prefer someone who has experience in working with sled dogs.

Qualifications:

Experience with sled dogs
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Computer literacy and proficiency w/ MS Word, Excel, and web-based booking software
Attention to detail & good organizational skills
Emotional Intelligence & ability to work well under pressure
Knowledge of Fairbanks area and tourist resources
Willingness and ability to work in cold weather and with sled dogs
Familiarity with social media services – FB, Instagram, Google
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Must have reliable transportation and accommodations in Fairbanks.
