Marketing Committee Application:
2021 – 2022

The Alaska Travel Industry Association is seeking ATIA members interested in serving on the ATIA Marketing Committee. The Marketing Committee will make recommendations to the ATIA Board of Directors regarding the statewide tourism marketing program.

The ATIA Marketing Committee will be comprised of 23 members, plus a representative from the State of Alaska’s Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development. ATIA Board of Directors will have first right of refusal for open seats.

Interested ATIA members must submit an application and commit to attending two marketing committee meetings per year. Members will be voted on by the ATIA Board of Directors. Applicants must be current members of ATIA and have at least 5 years of marketing experience and demonstrated expertise (resumes and/or brief bio must be attached to this application).

The 2021-2022 Marketing Committee will serve through November 2022. Scheduled meeting dates are:

  • Marketing Retreat, Anchorage and/or Virtual: December 1 & 2
  • Marketing Committee Meeting, Location TBD: March 16
  • Marketing Committee Meeting, Location TBD: June 8
