Job Description:
Provide security surveillance to protect the collection, visitors and staff, staff the reception desk, and provide customer service to visitors at the Sheldon Jackson Museum. Security duties are: open and/or close the museum, monitor activities in the gallery, inform visitors of museum security rules and enforce if necessary. In emergency situations, call for the appropriate assistance, evacuate the public, and perform CPR or emergency first aid as needed. At the reception desk: welcome visitors to the museum, answer telephones, operate the cash register, monitor the security surveillance cameras and alarm systems, complete forms to ship and receive freight and artifacts.

Required Qualifications:
~ At least one year experience working at a fast-paced front desk
~ At least six months experience using a point-of-sale device

Pay is $20 per hour. Part-time and full-time positions are available.
