Controller

The Controller oversees all financial, accounting and human resources activities across multiple entities. Responsible for budget development and management, financial analysis, payroll, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, regulatory reporting, and financial reporting.

Job Details

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties Include, not limited to:
 Manages all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition;
 Coordinates and directs the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances;
 Prepares and distributes timely, accurate monthly financial statements;
 Coordinates the preparation of regulatory reporting;
 Supports month-end and year-end close processes;
 Ensures quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting;
 Manages and complies with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings;
 Develops and documents business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;
 Provides supervision and performance management to the finance team – hiring, training, and retaining qualified staff;
 Coordinates activities with the Vice President of Operations to ensure all financial, payroll, and human resources functions of the entities are completed timely and accurately;
 Other duties as assigned

 Skilled in advanced computer applications, and QuickBooks proficiency.

Requirements
 Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
o OR – Six plus years working in an accounting field with progressively increasing responsibilities may be substituted for a degree.
 Minimum four years providing supervision.

Physical Demands:
 Position operates in a professional office environment using standard office equipment;
 Intermittent physical activity including bending, reaching, and prolonged periods of sitting;
