Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all aspects of hotel operations, day – to – day staff management, and guest experience.
• Responsible for maintaining compliance for all federal, state, local laws, and company’s policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Drives improvement in guest satisfaction experience and property’s goals.
• Resolves guest complaints and oversees guest service recovery process in a timely manner.
• Manages and protects company assets.
• Advocate sound financial/business decisions to achieve goals and maximize revenue and to achieve increased profitability.
• Maintains high standards of professionalism, including high standards of appearance and grooming, proper dress, etc.
• Prepare and meet all deadlines for daily, weekly, and month end to ensure all documents are completed accurately. Analyze and offer strategies to improve and/or reach set goals.
• Oversee HR related action in accordance with Aspen Management policies and procedures.
• Conduct performance reviews according to Aspen Management standards in a timely manner for employees.
• Maintain a positive culture to lead, coach, and mentor team members while holding team members to the Aspen Standards.
• Develop, implement, and conducts employee engagement and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and yearly financial documents to accurately.
• Actively participate in community development and positively representing Aspen Management.
• Arrange for fire and safety training for all employees within 30 days of opening and every six months thereafter.
• Proficient in hotel operation system, payroll system, Microsoft office products, and ability to type at a minimum of 50 wpm.
• Must use inner-personnel and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others by, leading by example.
• Conduct well-planned monthly staff meetings to encourage productive discussion, innovation, problem solving, etc.
• Monitor labor and supply cost controls as required by Aspen Management policies.
• Approve all direct bill accounts and review on a monthly basis. Perform collection efforts as needed.
• Post all Accounts Receivable payments in a timely manner.
• Compile all payroll hours and monitor budgets for each department.
• Maintaining communication with the Corporate Office regarding operational and/or employee updates.
• Maintain entire property, inside and out, on a daily basis.
• Manage all maintenance challenges immediately per Aspen Management policies and procedures.
• Arrange an extermination program on a routine schedule as needed.
• Maintain emergency equipment.
• Monitor and maintain key control procedures for most guest room keys.
• Monitor Guaranteed No-Show billing policy and assist as needed.
