Essential Duties• Answer incoming phone calls. Develop a rapport with the caller while answering questions, making recommendations and leading dialogue to a quote/booking• Handle online booking inquiries; answer questions and fulfill booking requests • Assist guest and travel partners with questions throughout the entire booking cycle• Build an understanding of our Cruise Partner reservations system and Salesforce CRM system and create and update recordings accurately and timely• Maintain current knowledge of all destinations, vessels, onboard services, land programs and marketing initiatives• Miscellaneous duties as assignedQualifications• Work experience in the travel sales industry and customer service arena• BA or BS degree• Advanced, proven sales skills. Strong understanding of developing a rapport with the caller, directing the call and closing the sale• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, are essential• Strong aptitude for technology and learning new systems. Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce and reservation/booking systems (Cruise Partner IBS, etc.) extremely helpful• Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to prioritize your work load while managing multiple tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced environment• Excellent follow-through and attention to detail
