Service staff- Ward Cove

Duties Include: · Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages for patrons · Interact with customers, take orders, and serve · Answer any questions or suggest items on the menu based on the customer’s preferences · Upsell and highlight the restaurant’s food and beverages · Take payment · Communicate orders with the kitchen staff · Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies · Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience · Clean tables or counters after patrons have finished dining · Prepare hot, cold, and mixed drinks for patrons, and chill bottles of wine · Comply with all food and beverage regulations · Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements: · Prior experience working in an airport/cruise line terminal as a bartender or server is preferred · Customer oriented, friendly, and energetic · Ability to work under pressure and multi-task · Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean · Food Handlers Certification · TAPS Certification · Must be legally able to serve alcohol · High school diploma or equivalent · Authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986 Cape Fox Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates provide equal employment opportunities to all persons and prohibit employment decisions on the basis of race, religion, color, creed, national origin, sex, age, disability, political affiliation, protected veteran status, or sexual orientation. Job Details

Our Service Staff are held to a high standard as they are responsible for performing a combination of bartending, serving, and hosting duties. This position is located at the Ward Cove Cruise Terminal where thousands of cruise ship guests come through during their Ketchikan port call. You will be responsible for greeting and assisting guests with orders and menu questions; pouring and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications and recipes; cleaning and restocking food and drink items in between the passing crowds of visitors.

Having exceptional customer service is a vital role to doing the job in the best manner possible and representing the company. Maintaining personal and professional safety and hygiene standards is crucial. Embodying the ability to work within a team setting and adapt to various changing environments is also necessary. We are willing to train the right candidates.
