Alaska Tourism Shark Tank

Shark Tank is back! The Alaska Travel Industry Association is excited to announce we will be hosting the sixth Annual “Alaska Tourism Shark Tank” at our Annual Convention & Trade Show in Sitka, October 10 – 13, 2022. Alaska Tourism Shark Tank is based on the reality TV show Shark Tank, where business entrepreneurs try to convince major industry investors – the “sharks” – to help make their dreams turn into successful business ventures. ATIA members can apply to present tourism business products or ideas to ATIA’s own Alaska “Sharks” at the 2022 Convention. Winners will snag cash prizes to help turn their tourism business ideas into reality.
Applications will be reviewed by an internal ATIA team. Selected applicants must be prepared to present a live pitch for their business idea and/or product to the ATIA Sharks during the ATIA Convention on Thursday, October 13, 2022. ATIA will accept up to 3 power point slides as part of your pitch (no videos please). The Alaska Tourism Sharks will provide valuable feedback and guidance on business ideas and decide at the Convention who the prize winners will be.
Interested applicants must be current ATIA members in good standing and complete and submit the below form by SEPTEMBER 16, 2022.
