Training for new participants and a refresher course for prior participants
We hope we are never faced by a crisis – personally or professionally – but crises have touched Alaska’s travel industry.
ATIA, as a benefit to our members, provides annual Family Assistance Foundation training as a means to help businesses meet the needs of people affected by crisis. This non-counseling approach is not a crisis response plan – rather, it builds a base of volunteers who can support industry in times of need, knowing what to do, how to do it, and when.
We invite you to join ATIA for the 5th Annual Family Assistance Foundation Human Services Response™ training VIRTUALLY, April 20-21.
This two-day training provides attendees with knowledge and skills necessary for assisting anyone who may be impacted by an incident/accident involving their company, as well as taking care of their own health and family connections during a time of crisis.
For the first time, class will be held virtually and will have information for new attendees as well as those who have been through the training and would like a refresher. This event is free but space is limited and you must be a member in good standing. Upon registration, a zoom link and coursebook will be emailed to you by the Family Assistance Foundation.
