The Alaska Travel Industry Association (ATIA) is the non-profit, member-based, visitor industry trade association that conducts marketing on behalf of the State of Alaska and represents the industry in the policy arena. ATIA's membership is comprised of more than 1100 businesses – from small bed and breakfasts to major corporations.

2010 ATIA Foundation Scholarships Available

Over $20,000 in scholarships will be awarded in 2010 to worthy Alaskan applicants who are planning a career in the Alaska travel industry. Completed applications are due by March 19, 2010 for consideration by the ATIA Foundation scholarship committee.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

Tourism Research Management Services

Alaska Travel Industry Assn. (ATIA) is soliciting proposals for two research projects. The first is to measure the effectiveness of the marketing program and other general tourism studies. The second is to analyze ATIA’s website to determine navigational ease and effectiveness as a trip-planning tool. Proposals should address: methodology, survey design, data collection and reporting.
