Join ATIA and the tourism industry as we gather together in the New Year for our rescheduled Annual Industry Event and Trade Show in Anchorage! Network with tourism businesses – including tour operators, wholesalers, vendors, destination marketing organizations and elected officials – while learning the latest travel industry best practices and business skills. We welcome you to participate either in-person or virtually. No matter how you choose to join, we are “Better Together.”

Thanks to our partners at Visit Anchorage, ATIA is excited to offer a giveaway package for one lucky winner who registers for in-person attendance at our annual industry event until December 17! The package is valued at $500 and includes:

Trade Show Booths & Virtual Job Fair

Showcase your business at the Trade Show! Trade Show booths are a great way to extend your reach, network with fellow attendees, and make new connections. Our January Event Trade Show will take place on October 18 & 19 at the Dena’ina Center.

New for this year, anyone who registers for an in-person trade show booth will also have the opportunity to participate in our virtual trade show for free on PheedLoop, our new online event platform. Virtual-only trade show booth registration is also available.

PLUS, anyone who registers for an in-person or virtual trade show booth will be able to participate in our virtual tourism industry job fair which will be held Thursday, October 20 from 1:30pm – 5:00pm. This virtual job fair will be held in PheedLoop, our online event platform, and will only be available for Trade Show booth participants. ATIA will outreach to universities, Alaska Native corporations, and career centers to encourage job seekers to participate in the virtual job fair.

Conference Cancellation and Refund Policy

ATIA will make a full refund of any event registration, less $50 cancellation fee and applicable credit card and transaction fees with receipt of written notification before December 10, 2021. No refunds will be granted after December 10, 2021. You may transfer your registration to another individual with no additional fee.

COVID19 Mitigation Procedures

Our goal is to gather as a tourism industry after another challenging year, honor our successes, and share in our lessons learned with our colleagues and friends. We are excited to be able to host this event in January with a hybrid format and following COVID19 health and safety guidelines. It is also our goal to be financially responsible with membership dollars, and sensitive to our community health situation in our planning efforts.

We will continue to monitor the COVID19 situation and our registration numbers and make a final decision about the financial and safety feasibility of hosting a hybrid event by mid-December. Our goal is to reach 300 in-person and 100 virtual registrants in order to gather together as a travel community in a meaningful way. If need be, ATIA is able to shift to an entirely virtual program.

We are committed to hosting a safe event and will follow all local mandates and CDC guidelines. We are offering virtual registration for those who would rather attend virtually.

  • Facemasks are required for all attendees (except when eating and drinking).
  • Attendees are required to provide proof of vaccination at check-in.
  • Physically distance whenever possible.
  • The number of chairs will be limited at tables.
  • Wash or sanitize hands as frequently as possible.
  • Additional precautions will be taken for food and beverage distribution.
  • If you have any of the following COVID19 symptoms, please do not attend the event: Fever higher than 100 degrees Fahrenheit, chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and/or diarrhea.
