Join ATIA for Alaska’s largest annual gathering of tourism professionals. Network with tourism businesses – including tour operators, wholesalers, vendors, destination marketing organizations and elected officials – while learning the latest travel industry best practices and business skills. We welcome you to participate either in-person or virtually as we go “Back to the Future of Tourism.”

  1. Get the code! Registration requires a members-only registration code. We have emailed the registration code to all active members through our Member Newsletter and the code can also be found in your ATIA Member Hub at the top of the Benefits tab.
  2. Get registered! Use the code to register for the event through PheedLoop.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be no walk-up registrations at the Convention and Summit to help us manage catering and event organization. In-person attendees must register by October 3, and virtual attendees can register through October 12.

Pre-Convention Summit: Renew, Rebuild, Rejuvenate
MONDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2022

Join ATIA for our Pre-Convention Summit as we talk about sustainable tourism in Alaska. As Alaska’s tourism sector rebuilds following COVID, travelers and travel businesses are even more focused on sustainability, whether on efforts to reduce waste, renew operations in a more resilient way, or increase benefits to local communities. ATIA is excited to share updates to the Adventure Green Alaska (AGA) Program as part of the dialogue around sustainable tourism in Alaska. Let’s Renew, Rebuild, and Rejuvenate together! Separate registration is required to attend the Pre-Convention Summit.

Convention Cancellation & Refund Policy

If you need to cancel your in-person or virtual convention and/or trade show registration, you may do so for a full refund, less a $100 nonrefundable service charge, until September 30, 2022. Please send your cancellation in writing to account@alaskatia.org. Registrants who do not cancel in writing by the published date will be charged and will be liable for the full registration fee. All cancellation requests for both in-person and online registration after September 30, 2022, cannot be processed. If you are unable to participate in the event, we recommend sending an associate in your place at no additional fee or charge. COVID-19 Procedures

The Alaska Travel Industry Association (ATIA) will follow all Center for Disease Control (CDC), State of Alaska, and community guidelines related to COVID-19 for gatherings. We are offering a virtual registration for those who choose not to attend in person. Click here to read our full COVID-19 mitigation policy.

Convention Sustainability

In an effort to reduce our environmental impact, we have committed to the following sustainability practices for Convention:

  • Use locally sourced food as much as possible
  • Reduce the use of plastic bottles
  • Encourage use of reusable water bottles and coffee cups
  • Promote recycling at event functions
  • Reduce printed materials such as signs and flyers
  • Encouraging use of convention app rather than printed schedule
  • Reduce packaging in food service
  • In lieu of speaker gifts, we will be making a donation to a local non-profit organization this year
