Fishing Guide (and Charter Boat Captain)

We are looking for ambitious and talented guides to join our team. You will recognize and enjoy the Boardwalk difference! We aren’t like all the other outfitters.

Responsibilities:

Be passionate about providing a heart-pounding, rod-bending adventure for all guests

Guide and captain daily fishing charters and/or wildlife viewing tours

Catch fish!!

Be patient with all guests, both the experienced and inexperienced anglers alike

Keep safety top of mind in all scenarios

Navigate effectively near coastal waters using GPS, plotter, radar, and sonar

Clean and maintain the vessel while in the water

Have experience or knowledge with light mechanical maintenance and repair

Excellent knowledge and experience deep sea fishing and some freshwater

Requirements:

OUPV/Six-pack License

Current CPR and First aid card

Ability to pass a pre- employment drug test and subsequent random drug tests

The physical fitness to lift and carry 50lbs or more regularly

Desire and ability to work on a team

Love and respect for the outdoors

Alertness and common sense

Friendly and courteous approach to monotonous or tense situations
