**Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead and optimize our sales efforts across multiple companies. The ideal candidate will streamline sales processes, boost revenue, and manage a team of sales professionals while collaborating closely with the marketing team. This role will require a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to driving growth and achieving sales targets.
**Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to streamline processes and maximize revenue across all brands. Identify growth opportunities and drive initiatives to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve their goals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team.
• Market Focus: Target various customer segments, including tourists, adventure seekers, and Alaskan utility companies. Tailor sales approaches to meet the unique needs of these diverse audiences.
• Sales Channels Management: Utilize all sales channels effectively, including direct sales, online marketing, partnerships, and trade shows. Ensure consistent and effective use of sales tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, and FareHarbor.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer, Creative Director, Project Manager, and Marketing Specialist to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives. Provide feedback and insights to support integrated marketing campaigns.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales metrics, setting and achieving KPIs to drive continuous improvement. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices to enhance sales processes and operational efficiency. Address and resolve any sales-related challenges or obstacles.
**Qualifications:
• Experience: Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role, with a track record of success in managing sales teams and driving revenue growth.
• Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales tools (FareHarbor). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with tourism, aviation, or outdoor adventure sectors is a plus. Understanding of Alaskan market dynamics and customer preferences.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Travel: Minimal travel required; primarily local and national focus with occasional international outreach.
