Denali Park Adventures - Adventure Expert

Job Description

Adventure Experts provide guests with the first impression of Denali Park Adventures over the phone, and through email. They don’t just naturally excel at interacting with people, they love meeting and chatting with folks from all over the world! Adventure Experts are responsible for taking online and over-the-phone bookings, answering customer inquiries, and maintaining tour schedules using an online reservation system. They act as representatives for the Denali area as a whole: often giving local info to help guests prepare for coming to the area, assisting with retail sales, and preparing individuals and groups for their tour. More than anything, this position is largely responsible for helping guests get excited and plan their trip to Alaska. Guests often have questions that will span outside the scope of Denali, down towards the Kenai Peninsula, or as far as the Southeast. Central to the role is networking with a variety of agents, from large cruise operators to small travel agencies, and coordinating guest itineraries with other adventure companies in Denali. This position is great for people who enjoy order and routine, find humor in daily life, love to make others happy and enjoy engaging with all people.
