Job Description:
We seek a highly organized and motivated Reservations Coordinator to support our operations team in managing logistics and reservations for our tour groups. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys coordinating complex arrangements, and works effectively in a collaborative, remote setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage hotel and lodging reservations with multiple vendors.
Schedule and book tour components, including activities, transportation, and local experiences.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of reservations, vendor communications, and guest logistics.
Provide logistical support and timely updates to on-the-ground teams.
Assist the Operations Manager with calendar management, itinerary development, and timeline planning for group departures.
Collaborate closely with the rest of the operations team to ensure smooth and memorable guest experiences.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in operations, travel coordination, logistics, or hospitality.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, vendors, and contractual details simultaneously.
Proactive problem-solver who thrives in both independent and team-oriented environments.
Comfortable and experienced working remotely, with proficiency in digital collaboration tools.
Familiarity with Alaska tourism and ecotourism is strongly preferred.
Fluent in English; additional language skills are beneficial.
Schedule:
Part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week.
Schedule flexibility required, accommodating operational needs, and time-zone considerations.
Potential for growth into a full-time position.
