GoNorth Travel LLC, a receptive tour operator and agent for partners in German speaking Europe, Belgium, the Netherlands, Australia but also the U.S., has an
Open position (30hrs) for a Travel Agent/Travel Planner in Anchorage or Fairbanks or Whitehorse, with experience in organizing self-drive tours in Alaska and/or Yukon.
After probation period the position may be increased to full time (100%) if interested in taking over more responsibilities.
Winter work hours: flexible, Mondays-Fridays
Summer: 8AM-5PM, standby until 8PM, Mondays-Fridays,
limited hours & standby Saturdays / Sundays
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• email network with the employees of our client partners, as well as service providers
• craft quotes for suggested travel itineraries
• enter bookings into our reservation system
• provide relevant documentation for the end customer, including detailed trip description in German or English and the corresponding vouchers
Start Date: February or March 2023
Salary: $18.00/hour during first month while being trained
$20.00/hr starting second month. Subsequently increases based on responsibilities taken over.
