Experience Alaska Tours (EAT) is seeking a driven and friendly professional to assist in coordination of guests and tour assignment on the docks. As a tour coordinator, you will be managing guests directly from the cruise ship dock to the transportation company. Other daily tasks include tour ticket handling, recording numbers from the day, and various other duties pertinent to the tours and guests from that day.

Experience dorm-style living with your co-workers while taking advantage of all the amenities our lodge has available. After hours or on your day off, you will have access to fishing gear, a variety of personal sized boats, and a campfire area!

Must present a professional and friendly attitude at all times on duty. Answer an infinite variety of questions about Experience Alaska Tours, Ketchikan, and Southeast Alaska.
Company liaison to shore excursion staff, assisting with sales and logistics. This includes working with bus companies and ship staff to insure that the passenger’s special needs are met.
Direct and assist passenger movement between cruise ships and tour busses.
Collect all tickets/vouchers as the passengers’ board motor coaches.
Effectively communicate with other Experience Alaska Tour employees via cell phone.
Conduct settlement transactions with cruise line representatives. These settlements must be turned in every day at the end of your shift.
Assist with the distribution of promotional tour materials (brochures/rack cards).
Maintain periodic reports of passenger counts and daily sales.
Transport guests if needed in company van.
Communicate professionally with ship staff regarding final counts and last minute details.
Be flexible and react to all situations in a positive and constructive manner.
Work with drivers to assist passengers in the boarding process and brief passengers about their excursion details.
Complete all related paperwork after each departure in an accurate, timely and consistent manner
