Experience Alaska Tours is seeking a friendly and punctual professional to assist in tour logistics and guest relations. This position requires greeting guests, ensuring all guests participate in their assigned tour, loading and unloading guest transportation, securing all vessels to/from the dock (including float planes and boats) upon arrival and departure.

One of the more important parts of the job is helping ensure comfortable transportation for guest with mobility issues to and from the lodge. It will be your duty to retrieve and return guests in a utility terrain vehicle (UTV). It is important to exercise caution and pay close attention to your surroundings when doing this task.

Experience dorm-style living with your co-workers while taking advantage of all the amenities our lodge has available. After hours or on your day off, you will have access to fishing gear, a variety of personal sized boats, and a campfire area!

Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time without breaks, bend, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs. or more with ease. Must be able to pass a drug test and have valid Driver’s License and clean driving record to transport guests in company vehicles. Free housing, kayaks, and spectacular scenery provided onsite. Season runs from April to October with seasonal bonus if contract completed.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Inspect and assure the safety and housekeeping of the docks and grounds.
Maintain a good knowledge of day to day timetable per the schedule and help keep all staff on track regarding timing and transportation.
Greet buses and vans and assist guests during loading and unloading of motor vehicles.
Catch or untie floatplanes and assist with loading and unloading of plane guests.
Catch or untie boats and assist with loading and unloading of boat guests.
Maintain radio contact with other key staff to promote tour excellence
Maintain a friendly and bright atmosphere for all guests.
Assist with dining rooms in cleaning, bussing, or setting up whenever able.
Assist kitchen with food deliveries, dishwashing, cleaning, or laundry whenever able.
