Experience Alaska Tours is seeking adventurous and animated servers for our restaurant and tour company in Ketchikan, Alaska. At Experience Alaska Tours (EAT), we serve a 3-course standardized meal of a Dungeness Crab Feast to large parties of guests that travel here from all over the world. A majority of our guests are cruise ship vacationers, but we do serve occasional independent parties as well.

It is your duty to create an interesting and fun environment for our guests as our meal time is very interactive and dependent on the energy you bring to the room. You truly make our guests experience!

Enjoy dorm-style living with your co-workers while taking advantage of all the amenities our lodge has available. After hours or on your day off, you will have access to fishing gear, a variety of personal sized boats, and a campfire area!

Wait Staff are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all dining and service areas in the restaurant. Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time without breaks, bend, push, pull and lift up to 25 lbs. or more with ease. Must have Alaska Food Handlers Card, TAP Card and be able to pass a drug test. Prefer 1 year customer service experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment or tourism operation. Free housing, company transportation, kayaks, and spectacular scenery provided onsite. Season runs from April to October with seasonal bonus if contract completed.

Applicants must be the legal alcoholic beverage serving age in the state of Alaska (21).

Duties include but are not limited to:

Open and set dining rooms for first meals, and clean and close at end of day.
Work with kitchen staff to facilitate plating and delivery of food.
Assist with dishwashing, gift shop, laundry, and other duties when requested.
Maintain a friendly and professional appearance and attitude when at work.
Learn script (5 min. orientation for guests) to demonstrate how to crack crab.
Serve beverages and crab meal to guests in a friendly and professional manner.
