The Porthole Food Truck is seeking experienced line cooks to join our crew. The season starts April - September with various positions in between those dates.

What You’ll Do

Master Your Station: Own the set-up, stocking, and execution of your assigned station (Grill, Sauté, Fry, etc.).

Craft Excellence: Prepare and cook menu items to exact recipes and presentation standards.

Kitchen Integrity: Keep a clean workspace and adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations. Respect our equipment and business.

Collaborate: Communicate seamlessly with the Head Chef and staff to ensure orders go out simultaneously and in high quality.

Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and report shortages.

Who You Are

Experienced: 1–2 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen preferred.

Skillful: Strong knife skills and deep knowledge of various cooking techniques

Resilient: You remain calm under pressure and have the physical stamina to stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Team-Oriented: You have a positive attitude and a "yes, and" mentality toward helping your team.
