Snob Hollow Inn is looking for a housekeeper for a hotel in downtown Anchorage, Alaska. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, hard-working, and friendly. Cleaning experience a plus.

The daily schedule is 10am to 3pm. Weekly schedule will include weekends and will be one of two four-day schedules. Choose either when applying.

• SCHEDULE 1: Sunday to Wednesday (20 hours per week)

• SCHEDULE 2: Thursday to Sunday (20 hours per week)

Requirements: weekend shifts, reliable transportation, able to lift more than 35-45 pounds, able to climb stairs, able to clean bathrooms, attention to detail, and timeliness.

As a housekeeper, you will be part of a small crew responsible for the high standards we have set for friendliness and cleanliness at Snob Hollow Inn. You are expected to work well in a small team setting and interact positively and helpfully with other staff members and guests.

Daily responsibilities may include: stripping rooms of used linens and trash, cleaning guests rooms, cleaning staff areas, cleaning common areas of hotel, maintaining stock of room supplies, cleaning guest lounge area, starting laundry, switching laundry loads, and folding laundry. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Housekeeping staff reports to the managers.

Snob Hollow Inn is a small downtown hotel with 10 rooms, and we are open year-round. We are a small, family-owned and -operated business, and are looking for two housekeepers to join our team for the summer. Paid training shifts begin April 27. Season ends in mid-September. A monetary bonus is available for employees who successfully complete the season.
