Marketing Associate
Position type: Full-time Year-Round, Remote

We’re a tour operator based in the U.S. and Canada who is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Marketing Associate to join our team. As a Marketing Associate for Gondwana Ecotours, you will be responsible for executing a wide variety of marketing tasks that help promote our small group tours and enhance our brand presence. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining content on our website and other places online. This position reports to the company’s Vice President.

Our small but mighty team is made up of passionate, knowledgeable, and committed professionals who all work remotely during regular business hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-Update, create, and maintain pages on our website, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
-Review and update brochures and pre-trip guides.
-Curate and organize photos and videos for marketing use.
-Manage our online guest forms; complete change requests, and create new forms as needed.
-Utilize Hubspot to manage sequences, workflows, lists, and marketing emails for effective communication.
-Monitor and manage third-party listings on various platforms, updating content and evaluating new opportunities.
-Maintain tour-by-tour carbon footprint information for both new and existing tours.
-Assist with post-tour remarketing activities.
-Create and maintain a user journey map and a reference spreadsheet to ensure accurate updates are made across our various marketing materials and communication channels.
-Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
-Proven experience in digital marketing, content management, and professional writing.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
-Proficiency in website management, SEO, and Google My Business.
-Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills for website content, brochure copy, email templates for guest communications, and more.
-Familiarity with marketing automation tools like Hubspot is a plus.
-Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field preferred.
-A home office space with reliable internet and cell phone connection.
-Passion for travel and a willingness to contribute to the ongoing success of our company.

-Has at least 1-3 years of relevant job experience
-Has impeccable attention to detail
-Is a highly proficient English writer and can communicate effectively in a tone of voice that’s friendly, courteous, and professional
-Is organized and able to stay focused and on task
-Is a team player

SALARY & BENEFITS
-$50,000 - $65,000 commensurate with experience
-Potential for a year-end bonus
-Phone plan
-Three weeks of paid vacation per year
-Work remotely
-Travel opportunities for team meetings. There may be an opportunity (not a guarantee) to join one of our Alaska tours after a successful training period—and perhaps other destinations in the future.
